Zoom is the third book of Manu Espada, the first devoted entirely to the short story. It meets "hundred or invented realities," hundred-plus small great stories, many of whom saw the light for the first time in his blog "The Rusty Sword."

The risk of overdose, ad nauseam, the constant percussion of recurrent themes, with similar strategies, writing with final template. A few days ago I read a quote from Jacques Sternberg claimed that the difficulty of writing a book of short or very short stories as are necessary to make so many ideas and stories. And therein lies the chief merit of Manu Espada: romancing his prodigious ability, his deranged imagination can bring to life the pages of a book, the most original stories, tender, hard, fun.
The fantastic Zoom is not an end in itself, is a tool used to bring an unusual mastery of the hand in ways impossible, improbable after they crossed the hands of Manu Espada. No turning back once the way, there is certainly no sign of repentance, for situations that are surprising, they are followed until the end. And that is appreciated. Manu
Espada is a creative writer, innovator and maverick. But it is also an excellent craftsman able to adapt the style that counts, observe the techniques used in Marked , Post-it, Mermaids on the calm , and many others. Creator of powerful images when you need it the story or cold as a scalpel in the past. In Out of context , for example, get a hilarious musical ask where one is surprised at the pace moving as if she heard music. Ultimately, Zoom is a powerful book, entertaining but also deep, which gave me a bunch of times and that great read, I have no doubt, continue to accompany me for a long time, I recovered from this book I already knew some micro-stories and re-reading has been very rewarding and enriching.
