Narrative Story About Barasoian Church

Ranking: The top ten films of 2009

ended year and decade (some call Naughties ) and in this blog are about the age of five. The blog has changed almost as much as me at this time. I've gone through times where I've written a lot and others, in which the blog has been very neglected. In the last year the blog has become a haven to inform you about the projects that I'm gone and I no longer shed here my opinions about the film I've seen. The month of February will be an important month for me, and we'll end up with fear Juan 35 mm. That same month, half a decade as abide blogger, as is the right time to do a facelift to this blog and guide to what really is today: my personal website. To be faithful to the tradition, here we go with the ten best films of 2009. As always, it is necessary to indicate that this is a listing based solely on subjectivity, so these are the ten that I really liked me and above all, based on what I've seen in theaters. Failing to see the odd cucumber end of the year, the thing has been as follows.
10. Summer day with 500 (500 days together), Marc Webb ( Tab). Far from being a conventional romantic comedy, the film departs radically from the topics of a boy likes girl and girl-boy passes. One of those films where it is impossible not to empathize with characters either, especially with the one played by Joseph Gordon-Levitt. Good assembly round pace, good performances and a sequence (reality vs. expectations) to make it realistic comedy of the year.
9. Up, Pete Docter and Bob Peterson ( sheet). We have come to Pixar masterpiece year. If in 2008 we fascinated Wall-E, Up this time we left a sour taste. Perhaps the story is over not finished a script and do not fully understand the meaning of these dogs talkative, but the film has one of the best starts of the year. The move sequence that begins the film and the audacity to include issues such as the neglect of the elderly, death and divorce, not very common in movies aimed at younger children, make the Pixar factory spoiled a good follow .
8. Cell 211, by Daniel Monzón ( sheet). The film confirms the good run of English cinema in the last quarter the year and especially to Daniel Monzón has ceased to be the eternal promise to become an established director. Monsoon runs fast paced thriller with pulse prison played brilliantly by Luis Tosar. Despite the odd hole script, the film written by Jorge Guerricaechevarría and the director himself, is undoubtedly the best English movie of the year, which will surely reflects the gala next Goya. Hopefully the English cinema continue at this level in 2010.
7. Gran Torino, Clint Eastwood ( sheet). The good thing about Clint is in great shape. And is that (with permission of the long-Manoel de Oliveira) with Woody Allen, we still offers a lesson in annual film (this year, two). Gran Torino is the updating of the hero created by filmmaker Don Siegel, Harry Diry. A Eastwood that far from being dirty, directs a film with an address contained and invisible, where he faces possibly his last role before the cameras.
6. Anticrhist (Antichrist), Lars Von Trier ( sheet). To the surprise of the writer, the latest film from enfant terrible of European cinema is an amazing horror film that brings a risky views on the couple, violence and mental illness. Away from the eccentricities of his now defunct film Dogma, the movie is awesome from a visual standpoint and contains a fascinating duel acting from Willem Dafoe and Charlotte Gainsbourg. Great work for Lars Von Trier that despite becoming a sort of slasher crazy in his last minutes, is able to offer the odd plane indelible to our retinas. Chaos Reign!
5. Doubt (Doubt), John Patrick Shanley ( sheet). If the Antichrist was tandem high-flying, formed by Meryl Streep and Philip Seymour Hoffman in Doubt is in the stratosphere of interpretation. Based on a theatrical text own director (who also wrote the adaptation), the film tells of the power of certain decisions and above all its consequences. Is it right to defend a truth that you're not sure? Chapeau also by Amy Adams, that this film has managed to stand out from the vase women's roles that was characterized.
4. Inglorious Bastards (Inglourious Basterds), Quentin Tarantino ( sheet). Tarantino signs one of his best films with this unclassifiable film (war?). Violent, excessive and complex Inglourious Basterds goes beyond vandalism and is the confirmation that Tarantino is not willing to please all audiences, but to continue making films you want. Luckily for the director, the public (and critics) is on their side. Comic, shocking, dramatic and irreverent, the film is an impressive cocktail of genres, with an international cast and a script multilingual public delights in the original. It may not be his masterpiece, although time and the rest will tell.
3. Man on Wire, James Marsh ( sheet). Documentary epic narrated as a thriller, tells the adventure of Frenchman Philippe Petit, stunt megalomaniac who planned the assault on the twin towers to cross walking on a steel cable. Moving and exciting in equal parts, the film also interviews, archival footage and recreations of Petit's feat. The interesting thing about the film is not only the use of suspense, but the variety of viewpoints and diversity of opinions before the facts. Fascinating.
Photobucket
2. Moon, Duncan Jones ( Tab). The directorial debut of Duncan Jones won a deserved award for best film at last edition of the Sitges Film Festival. Moon is an elegant piece of science fiction, heavily influenced by films such as Ships mysterious or Solaris. The subtlety and style of Jones is capable of making us see this little film, as an immediate classic science fiction film.
Photobucket
1. Let the Right One in (Let me), Tomas Alfredson ( sheet). The best movie of the year. The Swedish film is a masterpiece that seamlessly combine know horror, comedy, drama and romance. Diametrically opposed to the ridiculous saga Twilight, Let the worries less about vampires and more aesthetic telling a dark tale of childhood love. A film directed and written well, come to see the hand of the writer of the novel, wrote the screenplay. A beautiful tale of terror risky and moving, a cult movie from the time of its release.

We continue to work in the short to have the kinescoping ready in January, I keep counting. These days we get asked a lot about the premiere of the film. The premiere will take place in March in the Short Film Week the Madrid at the Circulo de Bellas Artes. Also try to display in editing Cortogenia next year, but the choice is complicated. What Does A Pearl G String Do

Juan in fear: End premiere of the film shooting

After many months of work, we finally finished shooting John afraid. Four years ago I first wrote this short film. It was a preproduction very difficult, with many setbacks, the most complicated that I ever faced as a director. Thanks to an impressive team, we have not only managed to get the short forward, but also the results are outstanding. The film received the grant from the Community of Madrid and is produced by Yacaré Films. We filmed in High Definition with Sony F900 led by cinematographer José Martín (I recommend you to take a look at his recently opened blog by clicking here ). Since we are immersed in a post-production against time, since the delivery our heels. The film will be released in 35 mm at the Circulo de Bellas Artes during the month of March, within the Short Week the Madrid . Juan scared children is played by Sonia Lázaro (which will soon see in The schadenfreude, produced by Alejandro Amenabar see here tab) and Iván Martín (see chart here), whose experience and professionalism have been decisive for the shooting has come to fruition. The adult roles have been interpreted by Fernando Ustárroz large (More details here ) and Oscar Villalobos . Three days of shooting and nearly fifty drawings for a short film we shot in Pedrezuela, a small village north of Madrid. Thanks to all who have made possible the filming of this short film of terror, with which I hope you come over a lot of fear. Soon we will show you more pictures!

Labia Stretched By Stocking Vids

The culona Dorodoro: A webseries Daniel Lavin

A year ago, Lavin aniel and I began to develop the argument Hajime , Lavin independent film began shooting in Tokyo with zero budget, as it did before with Acrobats, a film that has so far competed in Abycine and Gijón. Hajime ended Dorodoro becoming and then the mutated into argued or Plastic Sense (and without my help), a promising film currently recording Lavin. Thanks to the efforts of its director by exposing the footage, Dorodoro now opens as a standard for the internet in a reduced and compressed version of what was that movie we came up with Skype (with Japan earthquake included first-person lived) and in a single week of meetings at a cafe downtown Madrid. Cystocele And Pregnant

Paul Naschy, Jacinto Molina mask

I have accumulated work and projects. Soon they will advance information on upcoming filming in fear Juan, short of terror that will record in late October by a grant that has given us the Community of Madrid (Red One 35mm with final copy). Meanwhile, Sitges Film Festival is just around the corner. This year we repeated (express visiting, of course) the usual suspects (Carlos, Forfy, this is becoming a wonderful tradition) and as I try to balance the movies, I'm sorry for not able to attend one of the most anticipated events of festival. Is none other than the debut, as part of the horror film festival, the book of my good friend Angel Agudo : Paul Naschy, Jacinto Molina mask . The book is published by the journal Scifiworld and features a foreword by actor Christopher Lee . The presentation and book signing will take place on Saturday 10 to 12:3 or hours . Congratulations, Angel! Already held during the festival. I leave the press release below. Free Clipart For Retirement

Two Feet Under: Lectures on the life and death

recent years has proliferated the idea that American television live their golden age. It has been compared to the series to film and literature, fiction placing sponsored under the baton of the boob tube at a threshold above both arts. Although comparisons are odious, if it is true that talents such as JJ Abrams , David Chase, Matthew Weiner or David Simon have found a place on television to develop stories that would be impossible to carry the big screen or paper format. One of these talents, Allan Ball is responsible for it is without doubt one of the best series in the history of contemporary television. For five seasons, A Six Feet Under (Six Feet Under ) has been synonymous with uninhibited television, fiction devoid of barriers and absolute creative freedom.
The genius of the series is based on a formula crystal: the mixture of talent writer with a carefully staged (the series has a director with names the likes of Michael Cuesta or Rodrigo García ), some interpretations of removing the hiccups and a strong imprint of the author. And is that brand This series is based on an inexplicable mixture between tragedy and humor. The story revolves around the responsibility of a funeral home, a family business that seems to lose the reins when the accidental death occurs parent in the pilot episode. Each installment begins with a tragic death and (sometimes) ridiculous. From that time (followed by an obituary and a hypnotic credits), the plot concerns the relationship between the deceased and the Fisher family. Six Feet Under is brave and not afraid when talking about homosexuality, the family beyond the idyllic American idea, and overcoming fear of death, mental illness ...
The thematic arc of the series is infinite, which makes the fiction of Alan Ball become something like a lecture about life. The series is a perfect circle where the evolution of the characters over five years leads us to be part of a recognized university and meet the characters as if they were alive, as if they were part of our lives. It is indescribable the feeling of the viewer when it comes the climax of the series. The last three episodes of season five rub the expertise and the end does not disappoint the follower of Six Feet Under . About a week ago I saw Everyone's Waiting, the last chapter, and still costs me to get rid of the idea of \u200b\u200bmelancholy and sadness, I'm not sure if the excitement of the final six minutes, or the culmination of the series. Already said Hernán Casciari , we are probably at the best season finale of all time. We will never forget David, Nate, Ruth, Brenda, Claire, Lisa, Keith, George, Rich ... because we are taught to look forward, to follow the road towards the future, to look back with nostalgia, and ultimately, to take every second of our lives.

The Descent: Chronicles of a film (VII)

Photobucket
In the Journal of the Academy this July will have covered the filming of The Descent , which eventually rolled over on 6, 7 and 13 June. In the (fully recommended) new blog dedicated to the world frames of the film and also captained the filmmaker Roberto Pérez Toledo , published some pictures and gave part of the completion of filming of the film. You can read the news here. You can also check out this interview in which Barbara Santa-Cruz talks about his performance in the hilarious movie of Pagafantas Cobeaga Borja, where he played one of the leading roles. In the video you will see where I tried to Barbara, Ana and Jose Luis. Prepare a trailer soon, as a test to guide the final visual aspect of the film. Our intention is to start assembly soon, but we build the projects. A week ago we got great news: Juan afraid, the project that we pursue short years, has obtained the grant from the Community of Madrid. In short I will talk a little more of the latter and will post some pictures of the shooting. Happy summer everyone!

Fructose Malabsorption Rosacea

The Descent: Chronicles of a shoot (V)

two days I've been trying to make an entry and I have finally planted the day before the shooting. Finally, tomorrow we recorded the descent. These days have been very intense, we have been ready to change the date of filming for the time, but in the end we decided to take risks, and to move it all a week is more upset that the very fact that tomorrow we rains. I'm very calm, very quiet. This afternoon we had the last meeting with José Martín and Carlos Polo, director of photography and assistant director. We have reviewed frame by frame tomorrow, and do not know if it's because I've been so bad these days with the issue of time, but today I have been very capable and confident. I've reached a point where whatever happens, I think we can. If it rains, we will delay, if it's cloudy, we lose the aesthetic but give us time to do so. On Wednesday we had the last test on the floor of Barbara, was the first time I saw the three players together. Spectacular. Only rehearsed the sequence of the farm, we ride tomorrow morning as it will be the most complex of all the shooting and we want to take it well prepared. The dress rehearsal was very good too, Lucy has got a dirty aesthetic and burned clothing that marry well with the camera work. Today José pruba has taught me a camera and the visual aesthetic is perfect, with the filters get a little camouflage carry no optical, always trying to get depth of field and bursting funds (as we will not have sun). Last night we did the makeup test. It was fascinating to enter the cave in which they work Tony and Ruben, a basement surrounded by heads prosthetic foot amputees and fetuses that greet you when you enter their domain. There we did the tests based makeup and hairdressing, where he was Paloma. Ruben showed us the prosthesis that will Oscar Villalobos and although is a small spoiler, I can not show it in these photos (and no, not zombies). Today Mark, Jas, Robert and Jorge have finished with all the hassle of renting and preparation. The truth is that the team led by Marcos has done a spectacular job, what makes me really calm. Now I lie down and sure I can not sleep a wink. On Monday I will tell as we have done ... Wish us luck, we will need it! Take this opportunity to thank all those who are going to make it possible for the drop is a reality and also to all who have supported us during these months. A hug to everyone!
