The Descent: Chronicles of a film (III)

Starting this day of shooting and not carry the day is hell, because in between your posts, so many things happening around the filming of The Descent it is impossible to summarize in one post. The most important thing is that everything is moving forward. We found one of the locations we are most concerned about the diversion of the last sequence. In the end we had to adapt a sequence to a location close to the road, a farm that looks like something out of The Hitcher . Now and seeing things in perspective, I welcome the change. I insist that the production team is doing a really spectacular. The other day we visited the location with the director of photography and script. I felt like I was no consideration, as reviewed in detail planning. Jose has great ideas about the visuals, we aesthetics using copper to maximize the idea of \u200b\u200bstifling heat. The color palette is perfect art posed the idea to play with colors and textures that look worn by the sun and the passage of time. I am completely obsessed with time. Every day I look and check the weather forecast, despite knowing that until a week before, it will be impossible to predict at all. At the moment things do not look bad, we may have some cloud but no rain (holy god, touch wood). I think I gave more visits to www.accuweather.com men all the time on the planet. On the other hand, we have begun testing. I present to Barbara Santa-Cruz and Ana Del Arco, the two leading ladies of the short with José Luis Alcobendas . It's a huge pleasure to have actors of such stature, but above all, get involved and provide great ideas. In short, a pleasure. Today I met with Polo and we worked on a shooting schedule that will close after Sunday's team meeting, according to the needs of make-up art, costume and production. The next, more trials and testing makeup and costume. We still have things (we're going to get whores find an abandoned gas station in Madrid), but we will for all. A little story dedicated to Mark, on Saturday, under an untimely rain that left with mud up to their eyeballs, we discovered that the location has a rusted, decrepit sign that reads ... DANGER EXPLOSIVES.
